Conversations with Luke and Oliver

I explained in my last post that Luke has become a bit long winded (which I love), it is just hard to jot down our long conversations.  My youngest son Oliver is now two years old and is starting to grasp the conversation thing…mostly to say the opposite of his brother or to prove his independence and ability to do things himself.  Yesterday Luke and I had a couple conversations about school and Oliver joined in the last one.

Me: Are you nervous about starting kindergarten?

Luke: I am not nervous about starting kindergarten.  What makes me nervous is having to start high school someday.

Later that day:

Luke: Mommy, I don't think I want to go to college.

Me: Why not?

Luke: Because I don't want to move out.

Oliver: Me move out.  Me go cowwege (college).

Luke: Oliver I don't want you to go to college either.  I don't want you to move out.  I want things to stay the same way as they are now.

Oliver: (laughs) No me move out.

Luke: (crosses his arms) No Oliver.  No!
